Why is Cub Scouting important? Cub Scouting helps to instill core values: to do their best, help others, and serve God and America are a few of the promises a new Cub Scout makes. Cub Scouts are also taught to respect nature, to be kind, to be self-sufficient, and many other positive character traits. Along the way, Cub Scouts also make new friends, learn new skills, and visit new places. Being a Cub Scout is a confidence-building, positive experience.

Annual Pack Rank Crossover

Posted by kwright on May 2 2024 - 11:04pm

Join us for our annual Crossover event!  At this event, Scouts will cross an actual rope bridge as they are celebrated on moving on to the next year's rank! There will be a ceremony and each Scout will receive the neckerchief for their next rank! We will also have our Hiking Club Pizza Party after!  This will also serve as our last Pack Meeting of the year, so there will be a lot of ranks to hand out. We will need help in setting up the rope bridge at 8am and taking down the rope bridge after. This will be located behind the church at the fire ring near the Scout Hut and the volleyball court. Bring a chair because space is limited!  Scouts will be supervised during the rope bridge crossing and parents are welcome to come take photos and videos of this special event.
